About ClearEstate

What is ClearEstate?

ClearEstate is a tech company that offers a one-stop-shop platform for estate planning and settlement. Our state-of-the-art technology allows us to offer different flat-fee plans for estate planning and settlement at a fraction of the cost.

We are now supporting all Canadian jurisdictions as well as some jurisdictions in the United States including California, Arizona, Nevada, New York, Tennessee and Texas.

Our Customer Service Specialists are available to help you navigate the platform, if needed.

How was ClearEstate born?

Alex, one of ClearEstate’s co-founders, had a lightbulb moment after his mother passed away in 2019, and he had to deal with her estate.

During this very difficult period that he was going through, he was even more frustrated by all the red tape he was encountering for estate settlement. He couldn’t understand why he had to submit the same information multiple times and how agencies didn’t share this information amongst themselves. Right then and there, he knew there had to be a better way and ClearEstate was born.

What does ClearEstate not offer?

Legal Advice (i.e. Litigation) and financial advice.

For most cases, legal advice won't be required. However, if during the 30 minute free consultation we identify a complex need in your client's situation, we can connect them with the relevant professional.

Why do you say that ClearEstate helps with efficiency?

Estate settlement involves repetition of tasks and recording of repetitive information in forms. We have solved this problem through our technology and will only ask you to enter the information once. That way you can focus your time and energy on spending time with your loved ones.

Important notes before booking:

  • Enter the member's information in the first 3 fields of the calendar booking form.
  • Don't forget to add yourself to the consultation. If you wish to attend and the member is comfortable with that, once you have selected a date/time, add yourself as an attendee by clicking on the "ADD GUESTS" button and adding your email address.

Support

Please do not send sensitive information or documentation such as wills, POAs, etc. to creditunionhelp@clearestate.com. When ClearEstate is engaged by a member, they can securely upload documents through our platform.

Platform support

  • Regarding a specific client/estate: questions should be made out to the Estate Professional assigned to that estate (which can be done in the platform via chat or via their email).
  • General use of the ClearEstate platform for Credit Union representatives: creditunionhelp@clearestate.com

General support

  • Regarding a specific prospective client (not yet signed with ClearEstate): questions should be made out to the Estate Solutions Advisor who performed the consultation via their email address or phone number (provided at the time of the consultation).
  • Any other general questions about ClearEstate and the partnership program should be made out to creditunionhelp@clearestate.com
