Samantha Gravelle brings a rigorous legal education and a genuinely intersectional perspective to her role as an Estate Plan Advisor at ClearEstate. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom — where she competed in the Canadian Law Society Negotiation Competition, placing second alongside her team — as well as a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Criminology and a Minor in Law from the University of Ottawa. That early academic focus on criminology and the legal system laid the groundwork for a career centred on how law shapes some of the most consequential moments in people's lives.

Returning to Canada after completing her LLB, Samantha obtained a Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada — the credential that validates foreign-trained lawyers for Canadian practice. She then articled at a general practice firm in Mississauga before being called as a licensee of the Law Society of Ontario in November 2020 and certified as a Notary Public by the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General the following month.

She went on to practise as an Associate Lawyer at the same firm, where she served as the lead associate in Wills and Estates, while also contributing to Corporate, Civil, and Employment practice areas. This front-line experience drafting wills, administering estates, and advising clients directly on their legal options gives Samantha a depth of practical knowledge that goes beyond legal theory. During this period, she also volunteered as a Triage Coordinator with Pro Bono Ontario, reflecting a genuine commitment to accessible legal guidance.

Since joining ClearEstate in July 2023, Samantha has built a strong reputation among clients for her patience, accessibility, and ability to translate complex estate planning concepts into clear, actionable guidance. ClearEstate clients have specifically praised her for guiding them step by step through unfamiliar territory, answering questions quickly and knowledgeably, and making a daunting process feel manageable. Her licensure with the Law Society of Ontario ensures that the estate planning guidance she provides is grounded in a rigorous, current understanding of the legal frameworks that give estate plans their force.
